Sally Singleton’s long awaited new single, Over Now is set to hit iTunes this Friday, following its recent release to radio, which has seen it receive significant air play across radio stations nationally.
With a deep and sexy new sound, it is evident the gorgeous songstress’ well-awaited return to the Australian music scene promises a mature performer and songwriter who brings experience from her time spent in the musical hub of London and her outback OZ and UK tours. Her time abroad saw her immerse herself in music more than ever, spending her time writing and performing with talented musicians and producers and developing a series of tracks that are sure to wow club and radio audiences alike.
Australia’s Justin Shave and Sally collaborated together to produce the very catchy song she had written with pen and paper whilst abroad. The young, popular and gorgeous DJ, Christian Luke, then put his finishing touches on a club track version, which has been impressing dance floors at big club night internationally at festivals in Paris and Amsterdam and more as well as locally.
“Over Now has been close to my heart for some time now and I’m very excited to be sharing it with everyone. I think my Dad may have hoped my being young free and childlike was ‘over’ but no. Ill always be the child and sometimes the adult. Dad should know that.†said Singleton.
“I have been lucky enough to work with some musical legends both in Australia and the UK. Not all glamorous or fun but the journey to here is definitely a memory forever– that’s for sure.â€
“ Over Now is just the first of an album worth of songs I’ve created since touring with Wes(Carr), Jon ( Stevens) and Steve Young (from Darryn Hayes) after my first single and I’m loving being back on stage in my home town! Nothing better.â€
Sally Singleton’s, Over Now, is released to iTunes TODAY May 11th.
