It’s been a massive year for the Perth Trio! November 2012 saw the band launch their hugely successful crowd funding campaign, which allowed them to head into the studio in March 2013 to the recording of the band’s new album (WASTELANDS) with Burke Reid. In August this year the band released the awesome new single ‘GOT WHAT YOU NEED’ (which was added across the board through the Triple M radio network, 96 FM, 92.9 FM Perth and all major regional radio networks nationally) and moved rapidly into the September release of WASTELANDS. The album was streamed exclusively through news.com and received strong support from all media nationally. Having just completed a 9 date tour (Adelaide November 23), and to coincide with the release of the double A side singles ‘NOT ALONE’ and ‘RUNNING OUT OF NEEDS’, ESKIMO JOE have been confirmed as ambassadors for MOVEMBER in order to raise awareness of testicular cancer and expanding the Movember men’s health agenda beyond prostate cancer and mental health.
