Eight time ARIA Award winners, ESKIMO JOE, have received six nominations in the categories of BEST ROCK ALBUM, BEST GROUP, ALBUM OF THE YEAR, ENGINEER OF THE YEAR (Matt Lovell), BEST VIDEO (Bart Borghesi) and PRODUCER OF THE YEAR.
To cap off a truly sensational whirlwind 4 months, ESKIMO JOE are thrilled to be amongst the dominating Australian artists at this morning’s ARIA Award
nomination ceremony.
The band received an outstanding 6 nominations including the prestigious categories:
BEST ROCK ALBUM, BEST GROUP and ALBUM OF THE YEAR.
The sensational lead single ‘Love Is A Drug’ is nominated for
BEST VIDEO. The video was directed by long- time collaborator, Bart Borghesi.
The album, ‘Ghosts Of The Past’, also received the nod for Matt Lovell’s outstanding work for ENGINEER OF THE YEAR.
The bands skills in the studio as producers have yet again been recognised with their nomination for PRODUCER OF THE YEAR for the album ‘Ghosts Of The Past’.

‘Ghosts Of The Past’, the bands 5th studio record was released in August this year debuting at #3 on the ARIA CHARTS and hit the coveted #1 position on the Australian Album charts. The first single, ‘Love Is A Drug’ slammed in at #3 in the Australian Airplay charts, further cementing Eskimo Joes’ place as one of Australia’s finest rock bands. The brand new single ‘ECHO’ is at radio now with the video due in the coming weeks.
