AWOLNATION’s single ‘Sail’, from their debut album Megalithic Symphony (Red Bull Records/ Shock), has gone Platinum in the U.S., officially selling over 1,000,000 digital downloads of the hit song. ‘Sail’ also recently reached double platinum in Canada.

This reaction inspired placement in television shows, advertisements and numerous fan-generated videos online, including one of the most amazing extreme sports clips you will see, featuring famed base-jumper/ skydiver Jeb Corliss. The clip adds a whole new dimension to the track and has had over 12.6 million views to date. ‘Sail’ was also used in a spoof clip that has had over 8.4m views!

‘Sail’ became a runaway radio hit, spending 12 weeks in the top 5 at U.S. Alternative radio where it was on the charts for 47 weeks straight, and it continues its run at both Modern and Active Rock radio. This success drove AWOLNATION’s debut album, Megalithic Symphony, to become the #1 Billboard Heatseeker Album of 2011, a chart where it spent 33 weeks in the top 10 including topping that chart 7 times. In Canada, ‘Sail’ hit #1 at Alternative Radio.
