Sydney singer, producer and multi-instrumentalist Sparrows (aka Jessica Nitties) releases her new single “Hide & Seek” today. The synth pop track bubbles along over Sparrows textured unique vocals.

“Hide & Seek” is the result of a collaboration with Rob Amoruso and Gab Strum (Japanese Wallpaper) at an APRA songhub curated by Chris Walla (Deathcab for Cutie), which is released 13th March 2020.

Sparrows comments on her new single today, “Eating my lunch in the backyard turned into sampling the boy next door counting aloud, playing Hide & Seek. This then inspired me to write about a relationship that was following the narrative of a game of Hide & Seek. Thanks little boy! I have never gone this far down the Pop route, but so glad I have! Rob Amoruso and Gab Strum (Japanese Wallpaper) helped me go there! Grateful for the APRA songhub where we made it. Had Chris Walla (Deathcab For Cutie) not curated this session, this song would not exist.”

Sparrows previous single “Over & Out” secured full airplay rotation on Triple J, Triple J Unearthed and was heavily supported by community radio including FBI Sydney (Indie Artist Of The Week).

Last month, Sparrows along with partner Sydney artist Fluir (aka Siobhan Krelle) launched their new record label Rola Door Records with an exclusive distribution through Ditto Music.
