“Talk About Us” is the title of Isla Noon's sophomore release, out 2nd of July. A follow up to her more cinematic and introspective debut “Summer In August” it shows a gutsier, sophisticated pop side of her songwriting and music production style. The track has already garnered interest and support from commercial radio prior to its release - it's definitely a track that's turning both ears and heads already.

“Talk About Us’s” colourfully poetic lyrics dramatises a position of hopelessness, of not quite knowing where you stand in a relationship. It deftly explores that 'white-knuckled holding on tight' feeling you experience when you sense that someone is quietly slipping through your fingers.

Created in close collaboration with producer Maude Minnie Morris, Isla Noon offers up a banging track that balances something really dance-able with emotionally difficult subject matter, creating a space for a kind of physical and emotional catharsis both for the artist, and for the listener receiving it.

The single release is accompanied by a fantastic music video produced by the extremely talented Mareea Vegas (she also created Isla Noon's Summer In August video). It's mostly a ‘solo character’ monochromatic video with Isla Noon holding center court. The clip explores the song's lyrical content in an emotive yet playful way.

Isla Noon will be supporting her current release - and the upcoming Talk About Us - with showcase gigs during NZ Music Month, high profile support slots in early to mid June, culminating in her own single release show in July 2021.
