Casey Barnes has kicked off 2024 with a bang, being presented with his first ARIA Gold Record for “God Took His Time On You” at his sold-out Longyard Hotel show at the Tamworth Country Music Festival, followed by his most recent single ‘Miracles’ becoming the third track from his forthcoming album to hit #1 on the Countrytown Top 50.

These early 2024 highlights follow on from a massive 2023 for Casey, picking up Golden Guitar Award wins for Album of the Year and Top Selling Album of the Year for his 2022 album, Light It Up, along with the APRA Award for Most Performed Country Work for God Took His Time On You. Light It Up also took out the 2022 ARIA Award for Best Country Album. The album debuted at #1 on the ARIA Australian Country Album chart and #3 on the All-Genre Australian Album chart, and spent over twenty months in the Top 20 of the ARIA Australian Country Album chart. Casey’s catalogue has amassed over 60 million combined streams world wide and his music is a fixture on television both in Australia (Light It Up used for the AFL season launch TV advertisements and Get To Know Ya featuring on the Farmer Wants A Wife launch campaign) and the U.S. (We’re Good Together on Live With Kelly and Mark; and Never Give Up On A Good Time featuring in the CBS promos for NYE Live: Nashville’s Big Bash.

Casey’s electrifying live show has made him one of the most popular touring acts in Australian country, and he is set to take his career to new global heights in 2024, when he performs at Stagecoach in Indio, California in April. Casey is the only Australian artist in the line-up for the world’s biggest ticketed country music festival, held on the Coachella site.
